About Us
Silvia Nutu RN, BSN
Silvia is the daughter of Romanian immigrants. She grew up in a home that also happened to be an Adult Family Home (AFH) for most of her life that her parents owned and operated. This is where she realized she had a passion for healthcare and serving people. This led her to pursuing a nursing degree. Silvia has always been involved in some way in or around an AFH setting through nurse delegation, assessments, consulting, managing, and of course direct resident care.
Silvia received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northwest University Buntain School of Nursing in 2005. She has over 20 years direct patient care experience in a hospital setting (mostly Critical Care).
Silvia is a wife and mom of 3 and her children (ages 7-12) are frequently at the home visiting and chatting with the residents.
Silvia’s desire is that every resident feels valued, understood and cared for in her care home. She has a hope to give family members back the ability to be a just that, a wife, a husband, a son, a daughter, etc where they entrust her and her staff to take the place of their loved one’s caregiver.
